Evan ‘Yung Holy’ Holyfield Makes Quick Work of Donnis Reed w/ 1st Round Stoppage|#86Boxing #86Media

Evan “Yung Holy” Holyfield, 5-0 (4 KOs) didn’t need much time to pick up his fifth win as he stopped Donnis Reed, 3-8 (2 KOs). The fight, scheduled for four rounds, went down in his hometown and in front of a crowd including his father and former undisputed Heavyweight champion of the world, Evander Holyfield, as well as current Super Featherweight champion, Gervonta “Tank” Davis. The fight was broadcasted live on Pay-Per-View via the BPE Network as a part of Bigg Time Promotions’ Pro Championship Series.

Holyfield, a 6’2 Super Welterweight (154lbs), came out poised and utilized his jab to help him overwhelm the overmatched Reed. Holyfield was able to connect with a solid right hook that opened the flood gates. From there, Holyfield continued to rip precision punches and warding off Reed as he tried to tie him up. Eventually, the referee was forced to step in and halt the fight at 1:53 of the first round after Holyfield landed a garage of shots, handing Holyfield his fifth straight victory since making his debut last year.
