Terence Crawford Defeats Jose Benavidez, Jr., via 12th Round Technical Knockout to Retain WBO Welterweight Title!!

World Boxing Organization (WBO) welterweight champion Terence “Bud” Crawford, 34-0 (25 KOs) defeated Jose Benavidez, Jr., 27-1 (18 KOs)  via 12 round technical knockout (TKO). After much mochismo from Benavidez, Jr. Crawford controlled the majority of the fight and ultimately broke Benavidez, Jr., down.  Rounds 10-12 round were the most exciting rounds of the fight.

In the 12th, Crawford caught Benavidez, Jr., with a right uppercut that dropped him and almost had him down and out at that very moment. Benavidez, Jr. Upon recovery, Crawford pounced on Benavidez, Jr., and hammered him with a barrage of shots before the referee stepped in to the stop the contest and what could have been a more devastating result.
